The aim of Life Bats & Birds is to improve the food base and habitat conditions for the target species of the project. With the help of various measures, the insect biomass is to be increased, as this is an important food source for the target species. In addition, habitats are to be better interconnected, for example by planting hedges. Structures that play an important role in the rearing of young, for example, are also to be preserved, restored or renewed. All measures will be implemented to provide better conditions for the target species and thus increase the number of individuals in the Natura 2000 sites of the project.
