Overview

The implementation of the LIFE Bats&Birds project is concentrated on 6 Natura 2000 sites in the east of Luxembourg. These are 3 bird protection areas and 3 habitat protection areas. They are characterised by a particular suitability as habitat for the target species of the project. In all areas, several of the target species could be detected, but the numbers are partly declining, so that actions to improve the areas are necessary.
